What is The Bush Business Collective?

The Bush Business Collective, was born out of a desire to create a place for someone starting or running a small business in regional areas, to learn skills, connect and seek support for their entrepreneurial journey. I have met some talented people in regional areas who want to start a business, but often they lack the knowledge and skills to get it right. My aim is to make sure anyone starting or running a business is there for the long run.

What experience do you bring?

You will benefit from over 25 years of senior leadership and operational experience in a variety of business settings, including start-ups. My skills also include being an accredited Trainer and Assessor and I have served over 150 clients as part of a national Entrepreneurship Facilitators’s role. What support do you offer for clients using Canva?

Canva is one of the most dynamic graphic design platforms and is an excellent tool for someone starting their business journey. You can create logos, social media templates, documents and much much more; however it can be daunting to use. My marketing and graphic design backgrounds and my love for all things creative, mean that I can support you in setting up your Brand Kit and show you the essentials to get you started. This is a great investment for a tool that will give you such a powerful return.

Where are the workshops held?

The workshops will be held online so that clients in regional areas (far and wide) can join. You will need the Zoom app added to your computer if it’s not already. When you book to attend the workshop you’ll be sent the link prior to the session. Even online, this is a great opportunity to collaborate with other business people. All of the workshops will be promoted on Humanitix, so follow our page to be kept up to date with future events.

What does your 1:1 support include?

There will be a limited number of clients that I will support with 1:1 advice. These sessions are a great way to brainstorm, be inspired and be given some directions to “what’s next”. The sessions can be done either online or face-to-face (if you live in the Northern Rivers). You will be surprised how much can be achieved in the allotted time.

Do you hold any IRL events?

Yes - if you live in the Northern Rivers or SEQ Regional district, there will be some meetups held. Stay tuned by following our page on Humanitix which is where all of the events will be published.
